Not surprising, after playing the piss-poor demo, but dissapointing, nontheless.

UT3 Sales 'Abysmal'
Voodoo Extreme got hold of US PC games chart information for the first week of December, and it makes for worrying reading. While actual sales figures can no longer be released publicly, VE describes UT3's numbers as "abysmal", adding "I honestly have not seen a triple-A title tank so quickly in years".

Call of Duty 4 topped the PC charts, while the rest of the PC list is dominated by the usual Warcrafts and Sims expansions. UT3 came 19th out of all PC games sales for the first week of December.

VE also brings to light inaccuracies in the data reported by simExchange a few days ago. The true NPD November sales figures for UT3 in the US are apparently about 5,000 lower than what simExchange reported. Presumably simExchange is counting sales from some other source in there, or they're just full of crap.

While we hasten to add that NPD sales data can sometimes be misleading (as it only covers the US and doesn't count online sales), this is certainly worrying and somewhat baffling news for Unreal fans given the quality of the title and its positive critical reception.

that's f-ing sad but they did put out a shitty browser, few levels, etc. F-ing bummer. I wanted to like this game but I knew it'd be trouble after the shit demo.

Was playing yesterday and some guy said to tell all of the other WW's to get off CoD4 and play UT3 =P

New patch seems to make my game run slower. =(
